The Gibson

This kitchen pairs a modern perimeter with a rustic island, creating a space shaped around hospitality. New to the area, the homeowners chose to remodel first, prioritizing a layout that could better serve gatherings. We translated their vision using a refined “micro-rail” door style, set against the warmth of a natural island. Crafted from rough-sawn Rustic White Oak and finished with a low-sheen Rubio Monocoat oil, the island stands as the defining element and is our favorite part of this project.
