This home interior, designed by the homeowner for her family, was guided by a clear vision, with every detail realized through close collaboration from design to installation. A late-stage issue with the Sherwin-Williams paint, which was mixed slightly off and only caught during installation, required a full, in-place refinishing, but ultimately delivered the right result. At the center of the kitchen, the black walnut island, finished with Rubio Monocoat natural oil, anchors the space, and is our favorite part of this project.
